The experience behind the programme

Coaching experience. Built into every session.

Weightlifting Online combines structured programming, technical coaching, performance monitoring and athlete education in one connected training platform.

About Weightlifting Online

Built for athletes who want to progress.

Weightlifting Online is a dedicated coaching and programming platform for adult weightlifters, powerlifters and other athletes who want more than a collection of disconnected workouts.

Your programme should connect your current abilities, technical needs, physical development and longer-term goals. It should also give you a clear way to record what you complete, understand how you are progressing and know what comes next.

That is the purpose of Weightlifting Online: to bring your programme, performance information, coaching feedback and development resources together in one place.

Coaching principles

How we approach athlete development.

Weightlifting Online is built around clear coaching principles rather than novelty, constant programme changes or generic one-size-fits-all advice.

01

Every session needs a purpose

Exercises, loading and session structure should connect directly to what the programme is trying to develop.

02

Athlete needs stay central

Programming decisions should reflect the athlete's experience, abilities, limitations, goals and available training environment.

03

Technique and strength work together

Exercise selection should complement both technical improvement and the physical qualities required to express it.

04

Information should guide decisions

Training results, readiness, technical consistency and performance testing help determine when meaningful changes are required.

long term athlete development

Progress is built over time.

Good coaching is not defined by a single session, personal best or training block. It is the ability to identify what an athlete needs now while keeping their longer-term development in view.

Neil's coaching experience includes developing athletes from early technical foundations through national competition to Commonwealth Games, European and World level performance.

The same principle applies at every level: establish the right starting point, build the required qualities and keep training connected to a meaningful goal.
